Joseph Stuker, 93, passed away June 4, 2016 at Northern Montana Care Center. Services will be held at the LDS Church in Havre, Montana at 3 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was born to John and Sophie (Rausch) Stuker near Rexburg, Idaho November 21, 1922. His family moved to the Harlem area in 1924. He was the oldest of five children. During World War II, Joseph served his country in the European Theater, earning the rank of Corporal in the 994th Special Services Co and was honor- ably discharged in 1945. Joseph was a life member of the VFW. Returning to Havre after the war, Joe went to work for the GNRR (BNSF), retiring after 38 years and never had an accident. He married Ethel Rickman in September of 1952. They had four children. Ethel passed away in 1973. Joseph married Hazle Hammond (Hauger) in 1975. Woodworking, reading and studying, dancing and listen- ing to music were also some of his hobbies. He became the "Dad" of three more daughters. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and visiting family. He was an active member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in many areas. He is survived by his wife Hazle of 40+ years, son Allen (Nancy) Stuker of Great Falls, daughter Deb- bie (Jerry) Otto of Havre, step-daughters H. Lois Jones of Elko, Nevada, Bobbie Jean (Lloyd) Thompson of Sidney, and Lenora (Roger) Baker of Hyde Park, Utah, sister Ruth Brekke of Orlando, Florida, and Berta (Jim) Raniers of Great Falls, Montana, 22 grandchildren and 41 greatgrand- children. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Jacob, and daughters Belinda and Jody.
