 Marjorie Elaine Mohar, 80 passed away of natural causes on March 27,2017 at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home. Marge was born on June 4,1936 in North Dakota to Charles and Marjorie (Robenson) Martin. She was the third child of eight children. In 1940 the family moved to Harlem where her father worked for the railroad and her mother worked for the Harlem rest home. Marge attended Harlem schools and graduated in 1954. Marge met her future husband, John Mohar while taking care of his younger siblings. On December 27, 1956 the two were married at the St. Thomas Catholic Church here in Harlem. The two spent 29 wonderful years together before his death in 1986. During this time Marge stayed busy working on the family farm north of Harlem.  In the early years she worked for John Deere Implement, Tubb’s Oil Company and Sandy’s confectionary. Later she decided to go back to school and attended May’s school of business in Great Falls. Afterward she began working for various hotels in Butte and Great Falls. Marge was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. There were many a family heirloom created by the turn of her crochet needle. She enjoyed raising horses and her and John spent many years breeding race horses and traveling with them to various breeders and racetracks. She treasured her many grandchildren and the time spent with them always brought a smile to her face. Marge was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband John of 29 years, brother Johnny Martin, sisters Stella Good and Dorothy Nickerson and granddaughter Andrea Mohar. She is survived by children Butch (Janie) Mohar of Turner, Barbara (Jeff) Sather of Harlem, Joe Mohar of Great Falls, Terry (Brenda) Mohar of Turner and Rhonda (Thomas) Mohar of Broadus. Brothers Chucky Martin of Libby, Skip Martin of Sonora, CA, Gary Martin of Manteca, CA. and sister Joyce Hendrix of Pocatello,Idaho, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Although Marge will be greatly missed by her family. The time had come for her to fly with the angels and rejoin her loving husband.
