I was saddened to hear that a friend of my family had passed. My family just lived up the road and was always visiting,Bert and my dad made many deals all fair deals. In later years I made deals with him and he was true to his word. It is always hard when you lose a friend and I will always call Bert my friend. Henry Scoof Gordon

Pat, Larry and family,

I just read about the loss of Bert, and I was saddened. It is always impossible to know and understand the pain one feels at a moment like this, but know that I am thinking of you. I remember Bert well from my youth when my dad and other farmers in my family did business with him, and more so when Larry and I were in high school and I interacted with Larry and saw and knew his parents from events or social interactions.

Know that I am thinking about you and all your family at this time of your loss.
