Lonnie Wayne Cliff, 40, passed away April 29, 2015, from natural causes in his home in Lodge Pole with his family beside him. Wake services will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at 7:00 pm at the Chief Nosey Center in Lodge Pole. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chief Nosey Center in Lodge Pole. Arrangements have been made with Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook. He was born September 26, 1974, in Fort Belknap and raised in Lodge Pole where he lived all his life. Lonnie attended Lodge Pole High School where he was an exceptional basketball player earning numerous awards and trophies.
He spent his summers working as a Montana Indian Fire-Fighter and many years working for Jaha Painting. While he wasn’t working he spent his time with his children, family and friends. Lonnie also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Daniel Healy (Sophie Gunn), grandmother Bernice Clark, grandfather Lewis “Crow” Cliff, father Lewis Duane Cliff, and brother Lewis Duane (Lil Mike) Cliff III.
He is survived by his daughter’s Lexi Leigh BlackCrow of Fort Belknap, Lonette Cliff and Lilyana Cliff both of Lodge Pole; one grandson Braiyden BlackCrow of Fort Belknap; Mother Cheryl Kendall (Billy Doney) of Lodge Pole, brother Chad “Tricky” Cliff of Fort Belknap, sisters Tonia Cliff of Fort Belknap, Crystel Cliff of Lodge Pole, numerous nephews and nieces.
