Sharon, It is with a heavy heart to hear of Randy's passing. He was one of the most caring individuals I a came to know. I had the pleasure of working with Randy for the last 14 years as a member of the SMRWG and the St. Mary - Milk River Water Montana Management Team. Randy had a great passion for his work on both of these issues and earned Great Respect from those he worked with including me. I am truly sorry for you loss. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers our with You and your family. Dave Peterson

Dear Reed Family,
We are greatly saddened by Randy’s death. Although you may not recognize our names, we had the privilege of working with Randy on the Montana- Alberta Initiative regarding the St. Mary and Milk Rivers. We was smart, and funny, and caring, and always, always working the angles (in a good way). He was fair and forever the statesman. He was well-respected by everyone involved. Our Canadian counterparts send their deepest condolences, including the Deputy Minister for Department of Agriculture and Forestry. Please know that he will be remembered and missed dearly by us.

Sharon and Family,
We where so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. We really enjoyed working with him over the years. It always amazed me how positive he remained if something on the farm didn't work out as well as he'd hoped, and recently how he faced his health issues. God bless you and your family, and if there is anything at all we can do please don't hesitate to ask.
