One Review on Angus MacLeod

  1. To the MacLeod family,
I remember going to your amazing ranch in Montana on a family vacation in the 1950’s. We still have home movies from that trip. My dad Robert Holton was your mother’s cousin. I always remembered those huge breakfasts and I especially remembered the names Crissy and Angus (although about 60 years have passed). It seemed like you were all enjoying yourselves as a family working together on the ranch. Duncan said the Holtons were mainly Scottish and over the last month as I’ve tapped into our genealogy I found he was right! (It even appears we may be connected to Scottish royalty, castles and all, through our ancestor Maggie Sparks and her ancestors.) As I was inputting information into the family tree and seeing all the Scottish names I thought of Angus MacLeod so I typed the name (along with Chinook Montana) into Google and saw this obituary for Angus and that he passed away just two months ago. I’m so sorry. 76 seems much too young to pass away and I’d like to offer my condolences to all of you. I remember that my sister Kathy and I thought you were all such really cool teenagers and you were so nice to us little kids. I’m living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia now and my sister is in Sacramento, California. Dad passed away six years ago and my mom has been gone for over 35 years. I’m glad to see from the obituary that all you “teenagers” are still here. I can’t remember now but maybe my dad and stepmom went to visit Duncan at some time in the 80’s or 90’s. Again, I’m sorry to hear the said news.
It would be nice to hear from you if you have time to email me.
